Curb Appeal
Curb appeal is your first chance to create a great first impression on buyers from a street perspective. The good and bad features that jump out at buyers form their initial perception of your house and how you keep up your home's regular maintenance. Knowing this helps us to choose what plan of action we can use to attract buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't up to par with touched up paint and colorful greenery we'll need to address those issues. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your home's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Can buyers envision themselves enjoying game night in your living space, unwinding in your spa tub or hosting a dinner in your eat-in kitchen? We want your Open House to welcome buyers and offer them a sense of easy living. We'll help you accomplish this by recommending changes that enhance your house's features. We'll help you reduce the effect of anything that gives the look of clutter. Counter tops should be cleared off. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and refrigerator drawings should get moved out of sight. We can help you simplify the decor of house. Ugly or messy places make your home feel less spacious and buyers have a harder time seeing themselves calling your property "home".
Every room gets a once-over. Enhancements that directly impact your dollars include easy-to-fix items like furniture pieces that should be removed, rooms that need neutral paint, carpet that needs to be replaced, fixtures that need shining, and windows that need washing
With us by your side, you'll know that your home is likable and that it's friendly, avoiding "offensive" or "can't-work-with" hues on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can try temporary furnishings. The goal is for your home to look lived in as opposed to abandoned.

Setting the Stage We'll tell you when to show your home, because all of the changes come together to paint a picture of what buyers can envision when they consider buying your house. Dark rooms can really dampen a buyer's spirits, so we'll do things like open curtains and reduce shadows where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing softly and ensure a delightful scent flows throughout your house. We'll include cozy-looking blankets, and pillows on your love seat and bed. We want buyers to feel like your house is their future home. |
